Our Story

When we brought home our Labradoodle, Oakley, shortly after the pandemic began, life looked very different. Like many pet parents, we were home almost all the time, and he quickly became woven into every part of our daily routine. Whether it was walks between meetings, playtime during breaks, or simply having him nap under our desk while we worked from home, Oakley grew used to constant companionship and attention. And honestly, so did we.

But as life slowly returned to normal and hybrid work became part of our schedule, things changed. Leaving Oakley home alone for hours at a time was harder than we expected. We worried about his routine and whether he felt lonely or anxious while we were away. As an 80-pound Labradoodle full of curiosity and endless energy, he definitely kept us on our toes. Like many pet parents understand, a bored pet can quickly become a mischievous one. We experienced firsthand how difficult it can feel trying to balance busy schedules and everyday responsibilities while still giving your pets the love and attention they deserve.

That experience became the heart behind Perineed. We created Perineed for pet parents like us: people who love their pets deeply, but also juggle work, travel, and the demands of everyday life. Our goal is simple: to help make life easier and more enjoyable for both pets and the people who care for them. Because at the end of the day, pets are family, and they deserve to feel happy and loved even when we can't always be there.
